FEATURE DEEP-DIVE

Chips

A slot-machine stat system disguised as a factory. Ten chip sockets, a 13-metal quality ladder with 54 internal steps, 2,500 stat rows — and a manufacture gacha whose exact odds ship in the client. All of it below.

What a chip is

Chips are the late-game stat dimension, unlocked at campaign stage 56 (the Combined Base button). You embed one chip into each of 10 sockets; every chip carries two flat stats (Attack + HP, fed into the #tgt70 chip bucket of the attribute formulas) plus percentage lines drawn from an advantage pool (dodge, crit, electric/burning/reflect enhance) and — from Titanium quality up — a resistance pool (accuracy, crit resist, electric/burning/reflect decrease).

Each crafted chip rolls its actual values with ±5% variance (floatingRange), so two chips of the same grade are rarely identical — the classic re-roll chase.

The ten sockets

Each socket accepts one named chip type. Flat stats below are the config's base values from the weakest roll (Lv 1, Copper) to the ceiling (Lv 50, Photonic Domain +2) — before the ±5% roll variance. Blaze is the attack-leaning chip; AegisSuit the HP-leaning one; the rest sit between.

The quality ladder

Internally a chip's grade is one number, 1–54. The UI displays it as 13 metal tiers, most with +1…+5 sub-steps. A chip of level L can roll one of five grades, LL+4 — so a Lv 1 chip spans Copper→Platinum+1, and a Lv 50 chip spans Topology+4→Photonic Domain+2 (chip_base, chip_factory_show).

Chip colours are the in-game tier colours (Copper reads near-white, Silver green, Gold blue), not literal metal colours — faithful to the client.

The Chip Factory

All chips come from one place: the factory's manufacture button. Every craft costs 1 Silicon Wafer and pays 10 factory EXP, capped at 3,000 EXP/day (300 crafts) — past the cap you still get chips, just no EXP (chip_maxexp_everyday).

  • WAFERSThe factory itself pays a daily wafer stipend (50→68/day by level), and the shop sells more — first buy free, then 100 diamonds (chip_buy_item).
  • RECLAIMAuto-mode crafts in bulk and dissociates (recycles) anything below your filter — "stop when chip rating increases" — refunding Stars (10→50 per chip by factory level).
  • TEAM"Team Manufacture" batches crafts; a catch-up bonus grants +10% daily factory EXP if your factory level lags significantly behind other players (chip_tips_12).
  • GATEFactory level also gates other systems — one Super Technology unlock condition is literally "Reach Chip Factory level X".

Two Pilots snowball with the factory: Auraeon (+2% Armor base HP per 200 chips manufactured, max 22%) and Elandir (+2% Armor base HP per factory level, max 22%).

Manufacture odds — the real numbers

The published per-craft grade odds at every factory level (chip_factory_lv.probabilityShow). The window slides with your factory level: you mostly roll grades at or just above your level, with a thin tail two-to-five steps up. Note the jackpot column — the top step of each window sits around 0.08–1.5%.

Every chip stat row

The complete chip_base matrix — 2,500 rows: 10 chip types × 50 levels × 5 grade rolls. "Advantage" is the shared value of the five advantage-pool lines; "Resistance" appears from grade Titanium (step 5+). Values are pre-variance. Pick a chip:

Sources: chip_base (2,500 rows), chip_factory_lv, chip_factory_show, game_base_param, function_unlock, and the English localization. Which of the five advantage lines a crafted chip actually shows is decided by the server-side roll; the config ships one shared magnitude per grade. Gear-enhancement "Modified Chips" are a different item family.
