Commanders

A small roster of four named hero Commanders that sit above your fleet. Each is unlocked and ascended with its own shards and grants a permanent stat boost plus one signature battle skill.

Commanders are a compact, four-strong hero layer — Catherine, Chris, Alice and Mina — spanning the N→SR rarity band. Unlike the big collectible rosters, you don't gacha them: you accumulate a Commander's shards (chiefly from Tasking dispatch missions), fuse to unlock, then keep feeding shards to ascend through star levels. Each active Commander adds a flat stat bonus and a single signature skill.

Every Commander unlocks at 20 shards and ascends with more of the same shard. Those shards come mainly from Tasking dispatch missions (higher-rank dispatches pay rarer Commanders' shards) — making the Commander layer a slow, F2P-friendly grind rather than a paywall.
